Happy belated 4th of July, everyone!

I am home for the weekend! Fun times! I went to my grandma's and aunt's house last night with mom and dad and we had a good ol' fashioned cook-out! Everything was delicious, as usual! My aunt made this great corn and bean salad, we had steak on the grill, green beans, baked beans, hot dogs, corn on the cob, burgers, the works! awesome! I even got a little wine! It was sangria, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as the sangria my aunt made on Thanksgiving, which was superb, by the way.

Anywho, I found out that Niku san and Toni chan are coming back tomorrow! Yay! XD I'm so excited to see them again! Only, I won't until Monday. And of course, Emi kun found out before I did. Well, what are ya gonna do? I guess I gotta get something new and cute to wear on Monday. ^_~ Ooh, I can't wait! I will win the war on all other girls who are after Niku sempai! Mine! Ha ha!

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait.

Ciao!

My day is now slightly less than mediocre. It started out ok, but then I discovered that my drawing teacher is not cancelling class for Wednesday. That sucks. So, I have to be there; it's my major. But today's class wasn't bad. ^_^

When I get home, I'm asked to go retrieve milk... AGAIN! I honestly don't know where it all goes. So I go and get some milk. As I'm coming back, two complete assholes cut me off at the turn into Pegasus Pointe! I don't usually get angry, but every time someone cuts me off at that turn, it just lights a fuse in me! I swear, the next time someone cuts me off like that, I'm gonna follow them, get out of my car and do some serious bitching. So, I get home and everyone's leaving for classes and volleyball practice and staying in a hotel and whatnot (long story) and I stay home and clean the kitchen. This I don't have too big of a problem with, but the leftover pent-up anger from being cut off is still lingering. So with everyone out of the house, I begin ranting ot myself. I start bitching about earlier when one of my roommates asked me not to leave dishes in the sink, but to put them on the counter instead so that she has room to hand wash her dishes. That's a pretty lame request. Dishes don't belong on the counter, especially not dirty ones! They go in the sink until they can be placed in the dish washer in the event that the dish washer is full. Besides, if the dishes in the sink are bothering you that much, wash them by hand yourself! The way I was raised, if you need access to the sink, you clean the stuff or at least place it in the dish washer, and then do what you need to do. You don't just put it on the counter and leave it there. That's gross! It makes the counter an eye sore! I'm not used to living in squalor, ok? This particular roommate is the only one who washes her dishes by hand, and hence, the only one who doesn't do other people's dishes by default. It's like hand washing your own shit gives you a "get-out-of-cleaning-free" card or something. It doesn't seem fair to me and the other two roommates who all throw eachother's dishes in the dish washer without a problem. But of course, I'm too much of a wimp to actually tell her this, so I just bitch and moan, marinating in my own frustration and hope that by chance if she ever reads this that she won't be too upset with me.

Then I kinda went on another tirade. I started talking about dishes in general, which led me to think about LaNell's little friend who was at my birthday party knockin' over drinks and shit. Because of her, my roommate lost a glass and I got landed with the responsibility of buying a new deck of cards for my other roommate. That, and she was flirting with the guy that I wanted to flirt with, and it was MY birthday, etc. etc., yadda yadda yadda.

Ok. I think I've run out of things to be angry about. I'm no longer fuming. No more reason to call my mom and talk to an actual person. Yay me!

Well... Ta ta-ta! ^_~

Ha ha ha!

Heehee!

I'm watching High School Musical again (I can't seem to catch when the sequel is on) and I'm just having myself a good little laugh. This theatre teacher is so frikkin' hilarious! I don't get her. Ms. Darbis is the absolute craziest theatre teacher ever. First of all, if you love theatre so much and want to encourage students to become involved, why would you force them to paint sets as a detention punishment? She's scaring the students away from the theatre, which is probably the opposite of what she wants to do.

I was just laughing at the auditions. She was being kinda mean to the students. That's ok. It's all part of the comedy of the movie. However, that one girl who sang like an opera singer was really good! I mean, you'd think someone who sings that well should at LEAST be able to keep in time with the rhythm of the song. And being the director of a "musicale", Ms. Darbis should have been more understanding. Singing is an art form, as well as singing AND acting at the same time. That girl was just using a different technique than what's required for theatre; I think she should have known that.

The other thing that makes me laugh is the fact that you totally cannot do more than one thing. Troy can't act. He plays basketball! It's impossible! No way, no how! Gabriella can't sing. She's a mathlete! You can't do both; you just CAN'T! And a basketball star can't date a mathlete, no matter how hot she is! East High is the weirdest school. Or at least it has the weirdest students. You'd think that a hot chick on the arm of a basketball star was a GOOD thing. I guess not.

Ryan and Sharpay are too hilarious! I WISH they had gone to Dreyfoos. Their elitist attitudes would NOT last long at Dreyfoos. Sharpay, in high school, NO ONE gets their OWN dressing room! It just doesn't work that way, Sharpay! And no one bosses around the musical director and gets away with it! She needs to sort out her priorities. "We have to save the school from people who don't know a Tony award... from Tony Hawk!" Um, EVERYBODY knows the difference between a Tony award and Tony Hawk. I don't know that many people who live under a rock. And poor Ryan. He's such a doormat.

I think they type cast Corbin Bleu. He seems to always be the super macho (super hot ^_~), super athletic guy that the girls love. He's all like, "What? You can't bake! You can't sing! You can't dance hip-hop! You can't play the cello! It's wrong!" You know what, Chad? You jump rope, so shut up!

Heehee! ::sigh:: It's over. I love that movie, even though it makes me laugh for all the wrong reasons.

Have a good night! ^_^

Woot-ness!

Why am I so unlucky? Why, God? Why me?

It feels like the world just wants to take a big crap on me for the past couple of months. Fate has decided to play mean practical jokes on me this year. Like, I finally meet a wonderful guy, and a week later he moves to flippin' Tennessee! Talk about bad luck!

I got my car in January, right? only to find that it had ALL these problems. And everyone's been telling me "Oh, but Hondas are supposed to be so reliable!" The first week I drive the thing, I get into a collision IN A PARKING LOT! How lame is that? Since then, my luck with the car has gone steadily downhill. Had to get the radiator replaced, had to get a new battery, I had to get the brakes fixed; I practically had to overhaul the thing, and I STILL haven't had the dent from the collision repaired because Progressive REFUSES to let me borrow a rental car because I'm not 21 or some crazy shit like that. WTF is that all about?

Well, now there's a new problem. My car alarm has gone completely crazy. I set the alarm like I normally do, only now it starts going off for absolutely no apparent reason. It just starts freaking out every five seconds! It started when I came to WPB for a few days for the 4th. I have to come out and make it stop for fear of getting kicked out of my development with noise complaints! I have no idea WTF is going on with it. I now have to lock my car manually, which disengages the alarm. That's the only way it won't go haywire on me. What a load of crap! Has anyone ever heard of that happening? Hence, here I am, mad as hell, awakened by the stupid car alarm at 5:00 in the morning, and just upset enough to not be able to sleep unless I blog about it. ::tsh::

Oh, and to top it all off, the VERY DAY it stops raining, a bird uses my car for a toilet. TWICE! Oh, the cruel irony of it all!

Make it stop!

Arrgh!

I think I'm jealous of your girlfriend
Although
She's just a girl that is your friend
I think I'm jealous of your girlfriend
She shares a special part of you

"Girlfriend" by Alicia Keys, Songs in A Minor

Yeah. I don't know all of the song, but it's just how I feel right now. They're going to a convention in August. Without me. She's an ex-girlfriend of his.

I think I have a bit of a jealous streak.

I close my eyes and I keep seeing things
Rainbow waterfalls
Sunny liquid dreams
Confusion creeps inside me raining doubt
Got to get to you
But I don't know how

Call me, Call me
Let me know it's alright
Call me, Call me
Don't you think it's 'bout time

Please won't you call and
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you

I had your number quite some time ago
Back when we were young
But I had to grow
Ten thousand years I've searched it seems and now
Got to get to you
Won't you tell me how

Call me, Call me
Let me know you are there
Call me, Call me
I wanna know you still care

Come on now won't you
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you

Come on now won't you
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
Reasons for living my life
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to know you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you.

Don't talk about

Don't talk about

This is for all you Faye Valentine lovers and Julia haters out there.

First off, know that I am one of you! But I realized that as much as we all want to see Spike and Faye get together, many of us are unfairly dissing poor Julia. I happened to stumble across a Cowboy Bebop fan fiction the other day and the author seemed extremely biased against Julia. She was said to have been cold, unfaithful and, pretty much evil. Well, I just wanted to get my observations out there and quite possibly set this author straight. According to the series, EVERYONE loved Julia! (except Jet and Ed, but only because they were the only ones who'd never met her.) Even Faye liked her! At least try to understand what Julia's gone through.

According to the "cold" accusation, it's true that she didn't smile too often, from what I understand. But would you smile if you were the girlfriend of an evil, psycho killer, red-eye addict syndicate leader? I know I wouldn't. Also, maybe she seemed colder because her eyes were blue. (Actually, were they even blue? I don't remember. They might have been brown or something.) Besides, all the people who knew Julia practically said that when she smiled, she would light up the whole room! That sounds pretty warm to me!

Now, as for the unfaithful part, just take a good look at Vicious. Note the description of him in the previous paragraph. Can you disagree? Sure, at the time, he had Spike as his right-hand man, but he probably treated Julia like crap. Spike picked up on that. And, particularly after she patched him up, he just couldn't help but fall in love with that smile. Not to mention, they probably did hang out a lot, both of them being so close to Vicious. Now consider this: If you were Julia, what would you do? You'd probably want a man who was sweet and kind and great in the sack (c'mon, you know he is! ^_~) instead of a mean, angry guy like Vicious. Keep in mind that Vicious is crazy, and there's no telling what he would have done if Julia had decided to break it off with him. I believe you know the answer to the question, ladies and gentlemen!

Too bad Vicious had to find out...

Now to face the evil. Yes, when Julia and Spike finally met up at the end of the series, she did have intentions to kill him. But why? Because of VICIOUS! Vicious threatened to kill her if she didn't kill Spike. But she still didn't do it. She didn't want to. She couldn't. She loved him. Does that sound evil to you? Unfortunately, Vicious was all over it, and he carried out his promise. Poor Julia, gunned down by a Red Dragon assassin.

Of course, ultimately, it was Spike's stubbornness that got her killed if you think about it. Julia was all like "Oh Spike, let's just run away together!"

But Spike's all like "No!... Must... kill... Vicious...!"

Lunkhead.

Anywho, my point is, Julia was alright in my book. Just wanted to share my little bit of input.

R.I.P. Julia. We love you!

We just love Faye more. ^_~

Yeah...

I'm on the second floor with a lock on my door,
And I'm lookin' at a picture of your face.
The last time I looked, you were lookin' really good,
But somehow, pictures fade

We're on the phone
We're all alone
But that just ain't good enough

I'd go around the world
To see your face
'Cause this just ain't good enough

So I'm just kickin' it
I'm counting the days
I hardly can wait
For us to hang out
I'm really missin' it
In so many ways
I anticipate
Us makin' out

Here comes another one...

Sip my morning tea but you're not next to me
There goes another day
I'm driving in my car, I wonder how you are
While our favorite music plays

The flowers arrive
To my surprise
But that Just ain't good enough
I got the note,
It gave me hope,
But that just ain't good enough

So I'm just kickin' it
I'm counting the days
I hardly can wait
For us to hang out
I'm really missin' it
In so many ways
I anticipate
Us makin' out

(Dance break!)

Woot woot!
Woot woot!...

Soon you'll be
Here with me
(makin' out)
Soon you'll be
Right here with me
(whoooo!)

With my friends
'Till the night ends
But that just ain't good enough
And honestly
You can trust me
But that just ain't good enough

*So I'm just kickin' it
I'm counting the days
I hardly can wait
For us to hang out
I'm really missin' it
In so many ways
I anticipate
Us makin' out
(*repeat)

IF YOUR LIFE WERE A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie.

Opening Credits: "Up and Gone" by Hoobastank. I like this song. Perhaps it's one of those movies where it starts at the end and it backtracks or whatnot. Interesting.

Waking Up: "It's Tricky" by Run DMC. Awesome to wake up to! It would probably start with the second verse.

First Day At School: "Pink Cashmere" by Prince. Perhaps I meet the man of my dreams in this scene.

Falling In Love: "Suspension Without Suspense" by No Doubt. Perhaps a bitter break-up. On-and-off relationship maybe.

Fight Song: "Long Way To The Top" by the School of Rock. Hmm. Good choice!

Breaking Up: "Love Machine" by The Miracles. Maybe my man was a real Cassanova behind my back. The cheating bastard.

Prom: "Do You Remember" by Jill Scott. Cute little song! Perhaps I dance with an old flame.

Life: "Stupify" by Disturbed. Figures. I go crazy.

Mental Breakdown: "Nobody Not Really" by Alicia Keys. I guess after the last song, no one's around to help me out. My life's movie is getting really depressing. It's a pretty song though.

Driving: "Why Didn't You Call Me?" by Macy Gray. Groovy song to listen to in the car, but alas! 'Tis the story of my life.

Flashback: "Live To Tell" by Madonna. Here is where I learn an important, valueable life lesson. Something sucky must have happened in my past.

Wedding: "(New Wave) Polly" by Nirvanna. Wow. Helluva wedding song. Must not be my wedding. Or according to how my life's story is going so far, maybe it is.

Birth of Child: "Larger Than Life" by The Backstreet Boys. I knew it! I get fat!

Final Battle: "Never Felt This Way (Interlude)" by Alicia Keys. Sounds like I lose. At least I lose knowing what love truly is.

Death Scene: "Breed" by Nirvanna. I don't really know what this means. Perhaps I die because of some sort of serious mental illness or addiction or something and commit suicide. Kinda like Kurt Cobain. Hmm.

Funeral Song: "Fill Her Up" by Sting. I guess I'm moving on, in that metophorical sense. Ridin' that big highway in the sky. Sad.

End Credit: "Holiday" by Green Day. It kinda works for the end.

Well, that was depressing. I don't think I wanna watch my biography movie. I feel like Lindsay Lohan, Kurt Cobain and Spike Spiegel all rolled into one. Phwew! I'm glad this is fictional. ^_^

Good news:
MY CAR IS FIXED!

Bad news:
IT'S STILL IN WPB!

This is such a bad week to not have my car. Over the course of the week following Spring Break, I just about completely ran out of food! I had to depend almost entirely on food on campus.

Friday night was Universal Knights, a night of free and discounted fun for UCF students at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure! Fortunately, I did get to go, but I had to bum rides off of not one, but TWO people! I hate mooching.

Today, I was at the pool and this cute guy asked me if I was going clubing tonight. I would have loved to, but I STILL have no car!

I hope you're happy, Dad. Because you constantly find yourself employed at jobs where they want you to work on weekends, I still have the pleasure of being defenseless and transportationless. Thanks for letting me know ahead of time that you had to work. Definitely didn't give me any false hopes to go on. And I MIGHT not be able to make it home for Easter. Not having a set of wheels kinda makes it a little more difficult to travel 150 miles, now doesn't it?

Thanks a lot!

Hello there!

I just got back from getting a new battery in my car. I had the car for 2 months and the thing died! Oh well, no need to worry now. ^_^ (That was more time spent in Wal*Mart than anyone ever needs to spend.)

Anywho, I was watching TeeNick last night when Just Jordan came on right after Drake and Josh. Well, I was just sittin' there and I happened to see one of the names in the opening sequence. Jordan's grandpa is played by Beau Billingslea, a.k.a. Cowboy Bebop's very own JET BLACK!!! I think that is so awesome! Just Jordan is now officially added to my favorite TeeNick shows. (It's right up there with Drake and Josh and, the very occasional, Zoey 101.) Jet is, like, the coolest bounty hunter ever! (next to Spike, of course!) I think I need some Cowboy Bebop memoribilia with Jet on it. I have a Spike/Faye poster, a Faye bust, a Spike figurine and an Ed/Ein plushie, but I have nothing involving Jet! Oh well, there's another anime convention in April. There's hope!

Well, just thought that was an interesting tidbit if anyone wanted to know.

Thanks for reading. Ciao! ^_~

OMG, you will not believe my night last nignt!

LaNell calls me up and asks if I wanna go to Disney World for the Pirate and Princess party! Sounds like a helluva good time so I accept! Well, I mapquest the directions because sadly, I don't know how to get to Disney World from UCF, a half-hour drive! So, I get dressed, print out some directions and get on my way. First I had to stop and get gas, so I did. Then I turn around to get on the highway. The traffic was atrocious; it was rush hour. I'm driving, I'm driving,I'm driving, and following the directions and suddenly, I find myself completely and utterly lost. As it turns out, I got directions to a random place where you can BUY tickets to Disney World. WHAT'S WRONG WITH PEOPLE? Don't they know they're supposed to buy tickets online or at the gate?! Geez! Well, anyway, now I'm lost. I try to find my way, but I realize that I'm actually getting closer to Universal Studios than to Disney World! So finally, I stop and ask for directions. (I guess the fact that I was dressed like Sora made me tap into my male instincts, i.e. not asking for directions.) I get directions and as I'm on my way, My friggin' car starts overheating AGAIN! My baby doesn't like to be on the road for too long. I pull over and put the last of my coolant into the radiator and wait for her to cool down. While I'm waiting, I call my mom so I can rant about my terrible night. After talking to her, I calm down and get on the road again. I find my way back to the highway and finally, I find myself on the right track! But lo and behold, I always seem to be in the wrong lane at the right time, so I was forced into a wrong turn. DAMNIT! (The traffic was completely and utterly unbearable last night.) So after freaking out and almost having a conniption in my car, I get on the right track again. So I'm driving and driving and driving. (It takes a lot of driving to get to Disney World). Here's where my night starts to take a major turn for the better. I drive up to the gates; Those big, shiny, colorful gates that say *W*E*L*C*O*M*E*. I tell ya, I have NEVER been happier to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy in my ENTIRE life! I get up to the guy at the parking gate and he's like "That'll be $10." I'm like
"Ok, do you take debit?" he's like
"No, our machine is down right now." I don't have any cash on me, so I'm like,
"Nooooooo! Can this night get any worse?!" Then he's like
"Well, this is your lucky day," and he lets me park for free! I was like
"Really? Oh, thank you so much! I love you!" He's like
"Enjoy your night!" Woot!

So I keep driving and driving some more, and I get to the parking lot! Woot! I park in the Grumpy section. When I get out of t he car, I feel ecstatic and alive and free! I hop onto the shuttle that takes you to the front of the park and we ride off! It's pretty chilly, but I didn't let it get to me, since I'm Sora. ^_^ Then I gotta take the monorail to get the actual park gate. It's pretty fun. There's all these little kids all dressed up like pirates and princesses; they're so adoreable! So, I finally get to the gates to purchase my Pirate and Princess Party ticket and this little kid in line in front of me says "Hey! I finally figured out who you're supposed to be. You're Sora!" I'm like
"Yup, that's right!" So then I get up to the ticket window finally, and the guy behind the window's like
"Hey, is that a Kingdom Hearts Necklace?" I'm like
"Yeah. I'm Sora." He's like
"Awesome!" Then he gives me three free buttons with my ticket. ^_^

When I get inside the park, I get there just in time for the Pirate Princess parade! It's pretty awesome! I saw all the princesses and then there was this big pirate ship with Jack Sparrow on it! I call LaNell and he guides me to where he and the rest of his group are. I find him! He's on the other side of the parade route, but it's a short parade, and eventually, I get to cross over and meet up with him. Squee!

Then we go on rides! Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc, etc. Happy happy joy joy! Then LaNell and I get hungry, so we went to the Stargate Cafe to get some food. They're playing music for all the little kiddies and whatnot. While we're in line, I'm really hyper and I start dancing to the music. I do the Chacha slide, the Hokey Pokey, the Chicken dance, etc. Then the girl behind the counter, who was thoroughly entertained from watching me, gives me a free chocolate cake. She's like "Here, you deserve chocolate cake!"

Then I got my picture taken with Chip 'n' Dale! Heehee! Fun little chipmonks. Then we left at closing time. I was afraid that I'd get lost on the way back home, so I crashed at Stetson with LaNell. And I'm still here! Heehee!

I'd have to say, from the time I got to Disney World to now greatly compensated for my getting sadly, hopelessly lost when I live a half hour away. I tell ya, by the time I got to the Magic Kingdom, I could have been all the way back in West Palm Beach! Is that crazy or what?

Well, I think that's enough blogging for about three weeks. See ya!

Ugh.

I've had a bad day today.

It was starting out great; I took my friend to go get her driver's licence (she succeeded!) and then we went to get some food at Sonic, then I took her to the place wher her lacrosse team is doing fund raising work. (I got a nice car wash!) But when I got there, my car started smoking. Fortunately, I ended up in the parking lot of a Discount Auto Parts! I went inside to ask the guy who worked there if he could help me, and he said that my coolant was overflowing. I wonder how that got to happen. My dad changed it about 2 weeks or so ago, maybe 3. So, he told me it should run fine as long as it doesn't overheat, but I should take some of the coolant out soon. So, ok. Then as I was moving my car to get it washed, I totally hit another car! Fortunately, there was no harm done; I only bumped it. Nothing happened to either car, no scratches, nada. Yay! Got my car washed. So then, I go to leave and I have to take a U-turn to get back to where I was coming from. While I'm driving, I realize that I am in DIRE NEED of a restroom! I keep driving, looking for soomewhere I can stop, but there is none, and I'm getting REALLY antsy by now, so I turn around because I'd passed a Publix a while back. I go through hell to get into the parking lot, run in, do my thing and come back out refreshed. So I'm on my way again. I start driving along again (checking my car's temperature gague to make shure she doesn't overheat; she's good). All of a sudden, I realize, when I get to the very end of the road I'm on, that it's University boulevard and that I was driving the wrong way the whole time! So, I turn around AGAIN! I keep driving and find myself on Alafaya, just where I want to be, but I had to make another stop because I still needed some items for my costume and I had to return some stuff. I go to Wal*Mart Supercenter, and the line at the customer cervice desk goes for MILES! I'm standing there for a while and FINALLY I get to make my return. So, I go back to get the items I need and some ice cream for later tonight. Yay! Ok, so I go back out, (the whole time trying to avoid the Girlscouts and their damn delicious cookies) and hop back in the car. I turn the key and what does she do? SHE OVERHEATS! Damnit! So I make it home as quickly as humanly possible because I do NOT want to be calling any towing services at this point because I'm practically broke. So eventually, I made it home! And to top it all off, NO ONE has even lifted a finger to take the garbage out. I'm just not in the mood to do any cleaning, a) because of the long day I've been through and b) because I clean the friggin' kitchen all the time! It's time for someone else to do it!

There's my long day, all of which has happened before 3 pm. Ouch. Fortunately there are some things to look forward to later on. I have to continue working on my Sora costume, I'm going to an anime meeting to discuss MegaCon at 7:30 and then I'm going to get to chill with a group of friends, ya know, do some illegal stuff and whatnot. Heh! Hopefully, the second half of my day won't be as bad as the first half.

Ciao!

P.S.
I also broke a nail as I was popping the hood of my car. It hurt like a bitch.
