Hey, everyone!

I know I haven't been posting in a while. ::sigh:: I guess I've been a little preoccupied or perhaps short on time. I was tempted to update many times, but I just didn't have time. Or I didn't feel I had anything to write about. Heh! ^_^ Anywho, L.A. was great. We flew over the Grand Canyon. It was pretty sweet. We encountered a few celebrities here and there. At the airport in Atlanta, just about everyone but me saw Kenan Thompson. Ya know, "Kenan and Kel"! Heehee! That was pretty cool. It would have been cooler if I hadn't missed it. On the other hand, I was one out of four people who got to see Rod Stewart. Heehee! It was pretty funny. Me, Autumn, Andrew and Elanore were walking along Rodeo Drive and we stop in front of a parking garage. Oout comes Rod Stewart and some random chick in a silver Lambergini. Andrew says "Hey, isn't that Rod Stewart?"
"... I think it is!" said Autumn. Then Andrew says
"Ok, guys, just chill out." It was pretty funny. None of us were freaking out. I hardly even know who Rod Stewart is. "You were gonna scream, I could tell!" he said.
So, Rod Stewart drives away on down the street and this popparatzi guy starts chasing his car. Heehee! Funny stuff.

Let's see... Before that, we went on a tour of NBC studios and got to see the set of "Days Of our Lives". Yay. ::uninthusiastically:: We also got to see the set of the Tonight Show With Jay Leno! We didn't get to see Jay Leno, but we saw his car. It was this bright orange two-seater thingy. Pretty cute! While visiting the set of the show, we got to sit in the audience while musical guest for that night, Kenny Chesney rehersed on the stage. Danielle broke into tears when she saw him and he's like "what are you cryin' for?" So, she got to go down and visit him. That was pretty cool! (I had never even heard of Kenny Chesney before that day) We were all so happy for her! He gave her 2 of his guitar picks and personally invited her to see him live in concert when he comes to perform in Ft. Lauderdale. Sweet.

Our performances, for the most part, kicked ass! Well, the second one was really bad. the first one was great and the third one was fantabulous! Heehee! One of the best performances we ever did. The first two were at the Wilshire Church and the last one was at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Really nice venue! One of the best I've ever performed in, coming in right before the Kravis Center. (Last time i performed in the Kravis Center it was with Spotlight on Young Musicians and all the kids from the other schools sucked. ::my MSOA elitist side talking::) Where was I? ... ah yes! Performances! Ok. They went great.

Santa Monica Peir: great, but everything was closed because we went after dark. Rodeo Drive: Expensive. "So, what did you get on Rodeo Drive?" "A smoothie!"

I was so relieved when we had to switch hotels! It was kind of agonizing rooming with Molly and Patricia. Molly made more of an effort to not be in the secluded conversation bubble between the ttwo of them that Patricia did. I don't even remember a time specifically when Patricia said something to me other than asking for information or something. In the next hotel, I roomed with Elenore, Autumn, Pam and Lindsey. That was a fun and lively room. Ya wanna know that the best part of not having any friends on a school trip is? I got a whole bed all to myself for 6 of the 7 days we slept in hotels! There was one night when Anne Fink shared a bed with me; she was our guest violinist for when we sang "My Heart's In the Highlands". But then she ditched us. I'm sensing a pattern between the relationships between highschool kids and college kids... Oh well. She was probably tired of the incessant chatter and high pitched voices of Molly and Patricia. I would be surprised otherwise. (she took my side of the blanket...)

We went to Knott's Berry Farm. It was pretty fun! (It's a theme park, not really a berry farm, but they did sell jam. ^_^) They had this awesome ride called the Xcellerator. It takes off at breakneck speed from zero! It was so awesome! The best ride in the park! The girls in my room and I and Tony all went and had this western picture taken. It was so cute! I had to wear a blue corset that was tied really REALLY tight. My boobies were gushing out of the top. I was afraid to move too much because I'd break it open.

::I'm really pissed off! My dad keeps changing the channel when I'm trying to watch TV! My dad is so selfish! He walks up and takes the remote right from under your nose and changes the channel without even ASKING! And he's gonna be a-fuckin'-sleep in 5 seconds! My mom never does that. I understand the whole "if you're on the computer, you can't have control of the TV too" rule, but even when I'm not on the computer, I never, EVER get to watch what I wanna watch! We always have to watch what the majority wants to see. Friggin' 2 out of 3. What is this?!::

Ok! As I was saying before that interjection, Knott's Berry Farm was great. ^_^

On the way back from LA, we were at the airport and we saw one-hit-wonder, Samantha Mumba. Everyone was like "OMG! It's Samanthat Mumba!" I haven't even heard her hit song! All I know is that she was in a recent production of "The Time Machine". Anywho, she rode our plane to our connection flight in Atlanta. When I got on the plane, I walked up to my seat and she was in it. I thought that was pretty cool. It would have been cooler if I'd known who she was. So, the flight attendant came and he moved her and her brother, or whoever that little person was, to another pair of seats. I did feel kind of used when Danny asked me to switch seats so he could sit where Samantha Mumba sat, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I got the window seat anyway! XP Another good thing about having no friends on a feild trip: everyone wants to sit in the isle seat so they can talk to their friends.

It was really fun in LA, besides not having anyone to talk to most of the time. I got to go shopping! I got a seafoam green skirt that's really long and it has little ties on the inside so you can scrunch it up in sections. It's so cute! I also got a new purse. It was only 5$! I also got 2 tank tops from Forever XXI. I know, I know, we have one of those here, but I never get to go to it. It's all the way in Wellington and I don't have a car! So, I had a good excuse. That was cool. I got stuff. Not to mention suveneirs for my family. I wanted to get those little indian shoes that I think are so cute (but now everyone's got them which is really pissing me off) but my feet are retarded and I can't wear them. I hate everyone who has those shoes! I can't have them! I hate my feet! Ya know, I'm probably willing to get plastic surgery on my feet just so I'll never have to suffer from ill-fitting shoes ever again! Stupid shoes... ::growls::

Anywho, I think that's a pretty good update since my last post. Heehee! I hope you guys had fun in school for that week in which I was gone. XP Well, ta-ta!
