Yay!... and... Booo!
Mar. 21st, 2005 04:27 pmHello there!
This time I really haven't posted in quite some time. Unfortunately, not too much has happened since the last time. Er, not that I can remember. On the one hand, SPRING BREAK IS HERE!! Isn't that awesome? Well, I think it is. My spring break just started.Saturday. I had Ashley over! It was so much fun and it made me happy! on Friday, classes let out early so we could watch the GVB soccer game on the feild. Ashley, Michael, LaNell and I all played cocconut soccer, since we weren't part of the action. It was fun. Coconuts exploded and got coconut water all over us all. That night Sofiya invited us to the movies. We saw "Million Dollar Baby". It was a great movie. For those of you who haven't seen it, I won't ruin anything, but it is really sad. Then Ashley and I went to my house and my mom ordered Chinese food! Yummy! We also watched TLC's "What Not To Wear". It was a pretty interesting episode: two hours long. It was the worst-dressed couple in America episode. Good episode though. Then we left and watched "School of Rock". Another really good movie! I love Jack Black! He's so funny! The next day, we went to my guitar lesson. I always enjoy bringing friends to my guitar lesson because my teacher gets distracted and talks to the guest. But sometimes I have to keep playing because he's not THAT forgetful. But later, my mom took us to Cracker Barrel to eat breakfast. ^_^ Good ol' country cookin'! Heehee! Then we went back home and had just about enough time to finish School of Rock; we hadn't finished it the night before. Then her mommy came and picked her up and we all: Ashley's mom and her aunt, Ashley, me, and my mom, had a nice conversation outside. We said things like "oh, we should do this again!" and "We'll have to have you over one of these days!" and "Thanks for having her over!" ; ya know, the things parents normally say after a sleepover. It was good. ^_^ Then my mom took me shopping for a little bit. Publix, Target... yeah. Then we went home and ate leftovers. The next day my mom and I went shoppiing again. Sally beauty supply (I needed new shampoo) TJMax, Payless, Barnes & Noble... I love Barnes & Noble! I bought 2 books. One, for my own reading pleasure, was Legal Drug vol. 2. The first volume was a birthday gift and it was really interesting. Yesterday was the first time I'd seen the next volume in stores, so I bought it. The second book I got was a book that Sr. Anand would be very pleased with: 501 Spanish Verbs. It shows you every single conjugation form for thousands of spanish verbs! I'm gonna really need it when I get to AP Español next year. Boy am I glad to have it now though! I'm starting to fail las pruebas. Heh!
So now today I've been here all day doing nothing, desperately wishing that I had a car and a licence so I could at least go to the beach, but all I can do is sit here, LJ, listen to music and watch TV. The worst thing was the fact that my computer is being a complete douchebag and has been shutting down every time I tried to read an e-mail or open up WordPerfect 10. Retarted computer. No, literally retarted. If my computer was a human, it'd have downs syndrome. Speaking of Syndrome, (not to give anything away), I saw The Incredibles about 3 times this weekend. It's a really, really, REALLY good movie! I liked it a lot. If you haven't seen it, see it. It's good. Heehee!
Well, I believe that's all I have to report for now. I'll speak to you all later! ¡Adiós!
