Hello everybody!
I went to Ana's Pirate Party last night. Frankly, I thought it sucked. Don't get me wrong; the food was great, the hostess was great, the music was... prettg good. But some of the people who came sucked. They ruined it for me. I was having a lot of fun for a while. I was there with my friends LaNell and Ricky and we were talking and eating party snacks and drinking fruit punch and whatnot. Then all of a sudden I looked up and thery were gone! I had absolutely NO IDEA where they went. I didn't feel like wandering off by myself, nor did I want to tag alog with them (ya never know whether or not they wanted some privacy), so I was stuck there with everyone else. It was fine until we started playing games. We just HAD to play "spin the bottle, receive a dare". I didn't want to play because, well, all the dares were like "I dare you to make out with [insert random name here]!" or "I dare you to give [insert random name here] a lap dance!" Mostly, I didn't play. I only took 2 turns. The first one was "I dare you to kiss [said random person]. I'm thinkin' "I've never even SEEN this kid!" Stupid. The next one, after I'd been on hiatus from playing, and having declared never to have to kiss complete strangers, really sucked. The perso who had spun the bottle when it landed on me was this girl named Chloe. I never really liked Chloe for some unknown reason. Now I know why. Wanna know what her dare for me was? "I dare you to close your eyes and do an African tribal dance!" I'm thinkin' WTF is this girl up to? I say to her
"I don't know any African tribal dances! I'm not even African!" Her immediate response is
"I didn't mean it that way!" Of COURSE she didn't. :/ I think she's a racist in denial. I always got a bad vibe from her in some way or another. She doesn't want anyone to see what she REALLY thinks of me, I bet. And all this time I was all alone, the only black person in the room. LaNell was off frolicking while I was in there being humiliated. I wanted to kill. She doesn't know it, only because I was stupid enough to actually "perform" this dare, but I was quite offended by that. Actually, she probably knew it all along. It's like watching the shock on the faces of some racists when they find out my grandparents are from Washington D.C, NOT Africa. It disgusts me.
Later, when the two "lovebirds" came back, this little kid, I think he was a friend of Ana's little brother, went up to LaNell and asked "Can you speak American?" to wich he good-naturedly and humerously replied "Yes; I do it all the time." Someone should teach that kid some manners!
Hey, Kermit the Frog! You think it's not easy being green? Try being black.
