Hi.

It's been so long since i've been online, it seems! This computer is being so retarded lately that I have been disinclined to even try going online. But it seems to be working as of now, so I'll use my time "wisely". Heehee! By "wisely" I do mean journaling. Not reading Sparknotes like I should be doing. I'm gonna fail that quiz tomorrow on Heart of Darkness. Oh well. I'll pass sthe next quiz. I'm so sick of reading! The sad thing is, I haven't even read that much all year. I've been spoiled by most of my teachers so far. They'll be the death of me. They'll be the reason I don't get into Goucher. Heehee! I really hope these aren't early symptoms of senioritis. My mom would kill me. She'd destroy every living fiber of my being! I'd better avoid getting senioritis then. Heh.

CityPlace lunch pass is awesome. It was cancelled today because of the "rain". Yes. The ever-so- slight drizzling that would shurely melt us if we ever stepped outside of the gate! It's so funny how they let us run around in the rain ON campus, but not OFF campus. What makes them think we have any more of a chance of slipping and falling and dying while we're off campus? And once we get off campus, we're going somewhere indoors anyway. Ashley, Jake and I all starved to death because we were only equipped with ATM cards to use at the ATM machines in CityPlace. It's just really retarded. (Ever since I saw the movie Napoleon Dynamite, the word "retarded" has become permanently imbedded in my vocabulary, so don't be surprised if you see it a lot more often in my posts.)

I came pretty close to failing a memorization test today in Belle Chanson. I think I did pretty well though. I got to do it 2 times. Heehee! "She's like the swallow that flies so high..."

My mom is rejoicing. She's finally getting rid of my dog. She always hated my dog. And now she's getting her wish. The only reason I'm even giving in and letting her ship Emma away to the pound is because I know how miserable she is. My mom is a lot more irritable when she comes home and my dear, sweet dog runs up and sniffs her fine work suits. It kind of gets on my nerves how perterbed she is by it. But hey, what can I do? I have no choice. Plus I really don't like to see my mother being miserable. I love my doggie though. When I get my long-awaited scanner, I'll upload some picks of her. She'll be gone by then, unfortunately. U.U My mom makes such a big deal of little things like when Emma drips water from her dish or the fur that she leaves behind. I'm really gonna miss her cute little nose! She's so cute! There shall be picks of my doggie soon!

I had to work today. Before I left, I had an idea that I'd take a quick picture of Aaron. Just because he's so adoreable. I didn't get around to it. Perhaps on Thursday I'll do it. I'm off Thursday, but he's not. Yeah. Ok.

What else.... I'm not reading "Heart of Darkness". I think It's really boring. Why does everything we have to read in AP Lit. have to be so Boring?! I tried to read it. I really, truthfully did. I just couldn't stand it. I'm going to start reading that book Shariyfa lent me about a highland warrior. From what I hear, It's a really good book; it's one of those books you may see at the grocery store with a sexy, half-naked man on the front. Interesting! I must read it. Kind of cheesey, but interesting nonetheless.

Ok, I think that's about it. Ciao!
